Our last project in our Conceptual Illustration class was to create a story with characters that defined our personalities. We also had to create an environment and actually create the set for our scene and in the end, had to have a render for our climatic scene. The set was all hand made and painted with metalic paint.
This scene takes place in the rubble of a building after an earthquake and the main character, Denver, is mourning for a friend that died trying to save him. This is also where he encounters his mentor, a blind tanuki. This piece was done digitally with textures that were randomly picked from google images. Enjoy!
